In today's world, search engines and millions of Internet users surf the Web every day looking for new and interesting content. The design of your site-can affect :

  • The crawl of search engines and
  • how easy it is for users to navigate through your website

Before You Start Architecture/Design Planning

You need to decide what you want your website to achieve. You need to understand what internet marketing strategy you will use . There are two basic types of web users:

  • Those who are interested in research on the topic and ...
  • The buyers, who have completed their research and are ready to act.

Your site must be constructed to meet both of these types of researchers. decide before you start if you're going to be selling something or if you are going to be a wikipedia. Knowing your niche is critical to the success of the internet marketing web site design.

Creating a Web personalization is a good place for you to begin to know who your target audience:

  • Determine what products / features will and will not be accepted by your audience
  • Know your audience on a more personal level
  • Build a common language between you and your audience
  • Take your time to make informed decisions

Develop A Website With These Design Principles :

Some of our personal criteria that you must follow to obtain a good "Website." We strongly recommend that you follow this criterion quality site in your site.

Colors

What is the color wheel has to do with your brand website? Each color corresponds to a specific use, it is your job to make sure that the colors you choose match your business objectives.

Be careful when you try to combine the colors in the spectra of different color. We recommend a combination of colors at the same level of the color wheel.

  • Warm colors - Warm colors are made with pink, red, orange, yellow, gold, brown or a combination of both. In general, warm colors are more exciting and aggressive. They may involve the emotions of  optimism to violence, and therefore recomened in small scale. Designers can "soften" the warm colors using the lighter side of the range of warm colors such as pink and pale yellow.
  • Cool Colors - The colors of spring are cold blue, green, purple, gray, silver and white and is more associated and summer. The warm colors indicate violent, cool colors are said to have a calming effect. Blue, green and violet create the ifeel of comfort and care, making them perfect choices for advertisers.
  • Intermediate Colours - The coolness or warmth of some colors may vary depending on color. For example, purple and green are considered as intermediate colors, because according to the amount of yellow or red they contain (relative to blue), may be they perceived differently. Less blue color corresponds to a warmer, blue indicates a cooler color.

Font size

Selecting a font in addition to your logo for use on your website or to print documents is not as easy as it used to be. Web Design today has a wide range of choices when it comes to fonts, Most recommended :

  • Serif Fonts
  • Sans-serif Fonts

Backgrounds - Gaudy is especially important in professional and commercial sites. colored text is hard to read, has died. And the text of the multifunctional fantasy background is definitely out. The page is clean, clear and easy to read without eye injury. Black? Never. Have you ever tried to print the page where the text is white on black background and get a sheet of printer? Definitely not a commercial site benefit! White, off white, light, or exceptionally lightweight design is fine, as long as it will never decrease the text and the images have an impact.

Banners

not at the top of the page, and usually less than four pages.

Commercial

Who are you, what you do, what makes you unique, why use your products or services, and how it can help solve a pain or a need to be there. But it will not be effective on the web, if you just want your money. Providing this information, but a trickle of content a. to include as subliminal links and notes. Content is king, and the sale without the sale is the way to be commercial. Clarity is important in its content and purpose.

Browser Compatible

We get 95% of our traffic from Netscape and IE. The rest includes spiders and text-only browsers. Make sure your page works well with all browsers before posting. We will look at your page with at least 3 different browsers in this study.

Content - is king.

If you do not have real content that contributes to pain or the needs of visitors, so their visits are not worth their time. Offer something they can not get elsewhere. If you need, give your opinion, but make sure you're right.

Doorway pages

Avoid doorway pages (also known as splash screens). After wait while loading a logo that we may be impressed enough to click through your content is good, and is a waste of our time.

Excessive animation and flashing text

flashing and turning used to be cool, but not anymore. Make sure your gadgets are designed, slow, and if it does not add to your message, please do not use them. They went from funny to annoying. And they distract from your content.

Graphics

page content is king, but you have to "curb appeal." Since the sale of your home if it is ugly from the street, you drive to go inside. But if it is pleasant, and are looking around. This appeal, the graphics must relate to the content, so they must be specific situation and, if necessary. Compression speed graphics are good, but do not destroy curb appeal nice simple graphics speed. animated icons e-mail will likely have little contribution for the content, so they are more prone to trouble than good. Wait for the image download takes forever sometimes, and many do not wait.

HTML

Do not worry about how "clean" the HTML code unless it causes the page to look weird when switching between browsers or screen resolutions. The use of site survey tools is large, and must follow good practice to write the code for the page, but if not we think that it is much less important than other items in this list.

Image

The site must communicate your brand, but you define it. It must be tailored to your industry, customers, and appeals to your prospects.

Java - Do not do it.

Java can be effective as a navigation aid (good to know that we have overthrown button if you can not read), but beyond that he really rather have a purpose. Tell me what our name is or what browser I use, we're not going to help your content.

Links

If you are broken (a common link from your site), to solve the problem before sending. Consider the tools presented by sites to verify the accuracy of links before you review them, so do not refuse.

Matching

the overall design of the site is the same for everyone. Visitors should feel comfortable that the layout is the same, but the transition from page-a page, and navigation is always the same on the page. Changing the style of the site is not recommended.

Navigation - Do not.

We prefer that the navigation is obvious. Whenever possible, site navigation, content, and key to why should be used. We do not expect to charge ten buttons on the top of the screen before we can use the site. Similarly, we expect every button to get a corresponding text link at the bottom of the page.

The obvious purpose

to make sure the top of the text of the page tells the visitor what they get by staying at the site. Do not give them away, let them know how you intend to relieve pain or to satisfy a need that they are.

Screen Size

800x600 is a standard, but others are in use (run 1024). Before going public, looking at this site in all resolutions.

Scrolling messages

We want to know where the links. We do not want to be distracted by a scrolling text at the bottom. But we like the tickers, which is a scrolling text that can actually click and established a link.

Size

Some think it's important. We are not. If the text is displayed instantly, even if the images are being uploaded, and if we can make a decision that we want to read the content of this page without images, so the page can be very long. But if there are links on the page and you have no tables, yields are boring. We have great pages without tables, and the return from a link where you left, not top of the page.

Speed

Show quoted text in 5 seconds and then the photos. We do not expect a page to load the images before we can see if we want to be there or not.

Spelling - Do it well.

Sure, there are occasional [sic] a typo, but can fall-proof your job, and many word processing programs available today. Preparation is important, not allowing typing errors, if you happen to be the wrong word is spelled the word correctly - as it surely Sue Missing (r).

Tables

Avoid placing tables fixed width greater than the width of the screen. If we see the scrolling text to the right of your screen, you lose.

White Space

Use margins and spacing to avoid an impression of clutter. Endless text looks too much reading, so visitors are not. Use of color that is easy to read, but make sure it is useful (we use blue text level header). Removing the text to reduce the length (page width) for each line to help it be easier to read.

Under construction

your site if it is to have current information, is still under construction. Do not stand under construction signs in place. And it is not intended to provide information that is not there.

Unique content

This is a sensitive issue. In general, it must be said, do not borrow the strength of someone else without permission. Always have unique information, or at least be first with your view of this information. Bruce Clay was first in how to beat your competitors in search engines, and others have repeated our method on their sites. It happens. But do not take a whole section on another site. That's what links are for.

URL

You should have a URL to be taken seriously on a commercial website. URLs have a strong name is the ability of visitors' to reach the site, and makes you look bad. " Behave like a pro and it shows that you have invested in your site not only have one. Personal websites that do not have a URL is fine.
